SkyTeam - Do any ST airlines status match with AA Platinum?

I expect to be flying some ST segments towards the end of this year and then some more next year

I have AA Platinum status, until end of Feb-13 at least
Do any ST airlines offer a status match?
If so, what do they require (e.g. evidence of bookings with that airline)

Also, which ST FP gives the best earn/burn for reward flights?
I don't suppose there's anything to match BMI's Diamond Club for *A (great feature is its Miles+Cash redemptions), or AA's AAdvantage program in OW (very good earn/burn ratio)?

US carriers are the main ones who grant status matches, in Skyteam's case DL which will match you up to Gold (STE+ and will give you access to ST lounges except on domestic US flights).

The first post in this thread (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milesbuzz/883029-new-airline-status-match-master-thread.html) gives the details of what you have to send to DL.

I don't think there's an ST program which is like BD or AA, although redeeming DL miles on ST partners (if you can convince DL phone agents that their partners are actually members of ST) is definitely one of their better uses - and being in Australia you can redeem them for Virgin Australia TPAC flights at much better rates than on DL's own metal.

They also seem to have a challenge going - http://www.delta.com/planning_reservations/leisure_travel_program/status_match.jsp

If you wade through here, it may tell you if simple matching is still possible - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta-skymiles/423426-delta-air-lines-elite-status-match-definitive-thread.html
