Hi all,

I'm an American living in NL, I already have Global Entry for the US, and I've just applied for Privium, and setup an appointment for an interview in the Privium Club Lounge,.

However, it appears that that the lounge is airside? If I don't have a ticket, will they let me into the airside section for a Privium interview? How will it work with passport control before entering airside?

I know it states to bring my Privium paperwork, appointment confirmation and passport, but is there anything else necessary?

Thanks, would appreciate any advice

The lounge has entrances both landside and airside - but is, technically, landside (there is a Privium machine at the airside entrance/exit)

So - you just enter landside and report to Reception.

The land-side entrance is in Terminal 1/2 near the Lufthansa check-in area.

The airside entrance requires passing through passport control which may or be not be manned. If not manned, you cannot use it.

When I arrived for my Privium interview at 6:30am after flying in from New Orleans, they told me I didn't have an appointment. I insisted as best I could and the receptionist ( who was also the supervisor ) finally went and talked to the Dutch Border Control authorities. In my Flux Application, my last name was unclear. This is probably my fault, but the Flux website is kinda kludgy.

Everyone was very nice and all is well that ends well.

That said, I think Privium (and Global Entry) are great! All my travel to Europe and the Middle-East are going to be through Schiphol.
