Flew in C a fairly empty (3C / ~25 Y ) BRU-ZRH in an AR1 on Saturday evening.
On arrival, at an apron position there was a dedicated bus (think airport hotel transfer van) to take the C pax to the terminal (called Businessbus, never seen it before).
It was great (<3 minutes from plane stopped to terminal).

Is this a standard these days at ZRH with LX?
If it is well done LX.

I connected onward to GVA but no such luck there (apron position as well, although at 23h45, as our LX2818 was late due to de-icing and waiting for connecting pax I was not expecting it).

Yes since the opening of the new Pier B.
Very nice.

Thanks. Good to know.
Definitely a huge plus vs other airports for transiting C pax IMO.

Had a tight connection from BUD to TXL in December due to a slight delay from BUD to ZRH. Bus Pick-up was great. Never seen it before and a very good service indeed. Way to go LX!

It should have been a "12-seat Mercedes Sprinters that have been specially fitted out in the SWISS design". ;)

From swiss.com (http://www.swiss.com/web/EN/about_swiss/media/press_releases/2011/Pages/pr_20111201.aspx).

An exclusive Business Class bus service
SWISS Business passengers arriving in Zurich during peak hours whose flight still has to be handled at a "remote" stand away from the airport docks will also enjoy an exclusive additional service from today onwards. Immediately after arrival, they'll find a special bus waiting to carry them quickly and promptly to the terminal building. As well as using the airport's regular airside passenger buses, the new service is being provided with two new 12-seat Mercedes Sprinters that have been specially fitted out in the SWISS design.

problem is, that 2 seems to be unsufficient -had several apron arrivals without the mini-bus already in the last weeks...

OTOH, standing in the regular bus doesn't kill me :)
