Wyndham Rewards - Wyndham in-room theft, Corporate DOES NOT CARE

Be Aware; Wyndham has no control on keycards and pass keycards. I suffered an in-room break in in Houston and Corporate could not care less. They could not produce either a key entry report nor video of hallway at the suspected times (when I went down to breakfast...).
They are totally clueless and out of control. It's a mess. I cannot get anything from the hotel either. The police are not interested unless there is blood involved, they are too busy chasing murderers...
I would suggest that anyone considering staying at a Wyndham hotel think twice or have nothing valuable with them / left in the room. I travel a lot and I have never encountered such a situation.

Im really sorry to hear about this. Also theft from hotel rooms are not something any chain corporate get involved in. What did you want them to do?? The lower standard and price of the hotel, the less you can expect in terms of 24/7 security. Consider using the safe next time. Thats your sole responsibility.

You might want to send a PM to Wyndham Rewards and Wyndham Rewards 2 with specific details, including the hotel name, location, dates of stay, etc., along with what was stolen from your room, and nicely ask them to try to assist you.

Did you file a police report? Do you have travel insurance? What was stolen?
I must have been lucky that I haven't had anything stolen by hotel employees, although I have had 300+ hotel stays yearly from 2004.
The hotel can send someone to read the lock to see who was entering, when and using what key card.

Certainly an infuriating incident not to have the hotel assist with this issue.
Hopefully a police report was filed. Your home insurance policy will cover, but depending on deductible, may not be worth it. Good luck.

Somebody drilled the safe where you stored your valuables? Can't imagine the police won't get involved. On the other hand, if you didn't use the safe.....
