Just thought Id share with you this good experience I had on SK . I was really impressed with the product and offerings onboard.
Service was with a smile . The meals were of a good standard and transit at CPH was hassle free.
My pics can be see here for anyone interested:

Nice and very detailed trip report. I agree with you that SK C intra-Europa is actually a very good product compared to other European carriers. Especially the food seems to have a much higher standard and it is nice to see that SK is trying to keep a certain level in C while other carriers like LH, AF and KLM are cutting down on their intra-Europe C product.
The MD-80's are classic birds. Completely quiet in the front, nice seat pitch and really strong climbers during take-off. Unfortunately they are also heavy gas guzzlers so in a few years they will be all gone. Enjoy them while they last :)

Thanks :)
I will certainly miss those MD-80s . Agree they have great comfort and space. Will try to take a few more trips before they do indeed go .

+1 I find them among most comfortable machines in the market.
It is pretty sad that they have been replaced with the sleek but shaky A320 breed (or for that matter by no any better b737 by other European carriers).
