Budget Travel - Time share promotions

Hello everyone! Obviously I'm knew here so forgive me if I ask something stupid.

I'm a father of 3 so I'm on a very limited budget right now and I'm in a voting contest for a trip, but if I don't win it I've been thinking about purchasing a timeshare promotion package on eBay. I don't mind the 90 minute presentation at all, but I am wondering if they will charge anything extra if I don't purchase a timeshare? I simply can't afford anything extra right now.

Also, sorry for going of topic, does anyone have a suggestion on where I can post the contest asking for votes? I've already posted on my Facebook and Twitter. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post here or not.

Check out skyauction.com I've gotten timeshare rentals in Ft.Lauderdale, Miami and Spain for $199 per week. The prices might have gone up to $299 now. Search their Home & Away and Ready, Set, Go and Vacation Rentals.
Sometimes they still have sales for $1. They usually are for Sat to Sat.
