Alitalia MilleMiglia - Schedule update, when?

Hi

Looking at booking an AZ codeshare flight operated by EY, unfortunately the schedule stops around Nov.1st. Seems like it's the same for AF codeshares as well.

Does anyone know when will AZ update the schedule?

Second half of May at the very earliest. Probably June or even July. In fact last year it was almost August if I recall correctly.

Seems late.

The non-codeshares will probably be on sale before then (if they aren't already) but since AZ has quite an extensive network of codesharing (and the agreements have to be renewed each season I think) they tend to only put those flights on sale a few months before the relevant season. In fact it was probably only a few weeks ago that the S12 was updated.

I'm not familiar with that notation "S12".

I've seen it used on airlineroutes.net, can you point me to somewhere that explains it?

It's quite simple:

S is the summer so April-October

W is the winter so November-March

12 is the year 2012

13 is the year 2013

eg. W12/13 is November 2012-March 2013, and S14 will be April 2014-October 2014.
