Will be going PHL to CLT to SAN and same on the return. I see that the UC club is in terminal 1 and US flights will go out of 3, is there easy access across terminals in order to hang out before our return? I do have US club access, star gold and F ticket.
Thanks!

Terminal 1 and 3 are not connected airside. You would have to walk over to terminal 1 outside. there also might be a shuttle.

I don't think you will be able to get airside in terminal 1 because your flight goes out of terminal 3. You would need an Alaskan or United ticket for that pier in terminal 1.

Your options are an AA Admirals Club and DL Sky Club. Maybe UACO will eventually move to T2 but I doubt it because UA has their own pier in T1.

Darn! Thanks for the replies. At least, I won't waste my time now.

Since this is specific to SAN I'm moving this over to the California forum, where it will get more visibility.

There are only 2 terminals at SAN, not counting the commuter.

Reading the OP I was thinking the same thing, never heard of Terminal 3 at SAN.

Here is a map of the terminals:

There is no T3 at SAN. Its (looking from west to east), T2, T1, and Commuter (or if you are an old timer San Diegan.....West terminal, east terminal, and PSA hangar/HQ offices...).

US has to scramble for gates at SAN and it varies depending on arrival time and aircraft, but US is in T2. UA is in the western "banjo" in T1 - post security (this banjo is shared with AS). I am now waiting for AS and UA/CO to swap gates for UA to integrate its EWR and IAH flights into the T1 gates.

I am thinking the OP really meant SJC?
