Flying Blue (Air France, KLM, and Other Partners) - No First class award possible on AF?

Trying to book a first class award from SFO, but it appears there are no awards first or business on AF planes. (for soon to expire platinum) All that is offered is business on KLM. Am I missing something?

IIRC, SFO usually does not have F service on AF. J must be sold out / unavailable for award redemption at whatever level you're looking at. Of course, KLM doesn't offer F anywhere, so the fact they only have J makes sense.

Thanks! I guess since they switched the 380 for 747 in SFO, they have no First at all to SFO. Guess we'll try the 777 from LAX. Might as well travel to different economic sphere for the 11 hours, before returning to real life.:p
