Am sure this has been asked many times over, but if you enjoy UG perks at all of them, would you choose the Hilton Ramses, Conrad or Intercontinental?
The FS and Fairmont are offering some quite competitive rates too and obviously in a totally different league.

Hilton Rameses always seemed in the second rank of Hiltons, eclipsed in Cairo by the Nile Hilton. Even now the NH has gone, I'm not sure the Ramses would be a top choice among the 4/5 star hotels. The Intercontinental trumps it in many ways - though if the very central (and troubled) area isn't essential then the Marriot on Zamalek is still central and a very good option. I've never stayed at the Conrad Hilton, don't much like its location.
Four Seasons is taking it up a notch in price, and i'm not sure the jump feeds back in value.

Thanks Ian, exactly the feedback I was looking for. Much appreciated.
