My spouse and I have about 120k Chase Ultimate Rewards Points, which can be transferred to Marriott or Priority Club.
Our trip to Nice, France/ multi-cities, Italy is the time of earn and burn opportunity that we like.
For Italy (particularly the classic destinations of Venice, Florence, Cirque Terra, and Rome), what is a better option to pursue?
Thanks!

ask the people on the marriot and priority club site. they know best.
If you can do SPG cash+points in Venice you can get very good value for your points at properties that sell rooms for E700-800/nt.
In Rome we faced the same choice between Marriott Flora and Intercontinental de la Ville. Marriott didn't have any award inventory so we ended up using PC points and a 241 weekend voucher at the IC. But I don't think you can go wrong using points in Europe when the rates are this high. If you do go with Marriott you are better off finding a situation where you need 5 nights as it will cost the same # of points as 4 nights.

The Crowne Plaza in Venice is on the current pointbreak list. 5000 per night, they areacross the street from the train to downtown.
