For the past few months, I've been working on a guide to San Francisco's best restaurants and other interesting spots. We developed it after being frustrated by the lack of curation in other guides. I put the project up on Kickstarter 1 week ago, and within 7 days we hit our goal of 10,000$ to produce the guide!
Now that we're sure we'll have the funds to make it, I figured I'd post here to let you guys know about it! Quite a few of our pre-orders so far have come from flight crews, haha.

Briefly, we use an origami technique originally developed for satellite solar panels to allow the map to fold down to the size of a credit card in a single smooth gesture (no fumbling around!)
