TG doesn't fly F into HAN so your question is rather odd.

Also it's a contract lounge with some, but limited, food and drink.

Contract lounge upstairs is fine. Nice view over the tarmac and plenty of space. Food and drink selection is so-so, but I prefer space and peace much higher than a full bar service. Free WiFi is also decent.

The tarmac view also means that you can see when pax start to board unless the plane is parked on the far east side (which is rarely the case for TG). As it takes less than 1 min from lounge to your seat in the plane you can really optimise your time.

Used the contract lounge last month - nothing much to write home about, although pho and a good selection of local fruits are served in the lounge! :p

However I would steer clear of any food that is not well packaged...while waiting for a HAN-BKK TG flight towards the end of last year I saw a large rat walk calmly from the adjacent kitchen, weaving its way through the lounge. I pointed it out to the staff who laughed and shrugged - the rat is clearly a regular client...
