So when I booked my ticket, 3A was last seat available. However, when I went to OCLI 3C showed as open as well. OLCI wouldn't work unless I switched my seat to 3C - which everything went through and BP printed. Thought OK now I can switch back - but LAN.com shows me in 3A. Called LAN and they said I'm in 3A. BP shows 3C though, and if I go to print it again, it still shows as 3C also...am I going to have a seat on this plane?
Anybody ever seen anything like this?

Well, yes. The problem at OLCI of being forced to change seats and then it not working is quite common, very common. The trick sometimes is to just move your seat with the curser and then return to the original seat. But if you muck about too much the system locks up and you get your type of problem. Once in LAN office, had this problem, she was quite aware of it and she called LAN systems for them to unlock my seat so I could select anew.
Regardless, you have a boarding pass, you will have a seat and they are waiting with a some fine wines for you!

Thanks! Any recommendations on the wine or do they vary by flight? I'm flying LAX-SCL-EZE

LAN has the same wine selection on all longhaul flights during the same wine menu period. 1 bubbles, 3 reds, 2 whites. Unless there is a catering error (which is rare), all that are on the menu will be available. Other than the bubbles, with each new wine you try, you will be presented with the bottle, label forward, and offered a taste, unless you tell them just to go ahead.
The wines are all of a good quality, what you like is a matter of personal taste. Retail price comparisons aren't always good because some of the wines are delicious but great value in Chile or Argentina. Typically, one of the reds and one of the whites are from Argentina. The rest are from Chile. The bubbles are from Champagne.
SCL/EZE (or most Intra-South America flights) will have a more limited selection - typically Argentine bubbles (Chandon Baron B or similar) and 3 or 4 of the wines from the longhaul menu, and sometimes something not on that menu - most frequently the most premium of the reds is not poured. The exception to this are flights that continue onward via LIM to the USA without aircraft change from SCL, i.e., 600 to LAX, 530 to JFK. They are treated like one longhaul int'l flight for catering/service purposes for the thru-passengers, and you'll have the good bubbles and the full wine list.
In dozens of LAN flights, I only recall a couple with material wine catering errors.
