Asia - Arriving Incheon Intl Concourse A - How to Meet Someone Arriving Intl Main Terminal?

I am meeting my girlfriend at Incheon International next week. I am arriving on an international United flight and she is arriving on an international Korean Air flight several hours after me. According to the airport information, my arrival gate will be in Concourse A and hers will be the Main Terminal.

What I want to do is wait for her at her gate and meet her coming off the plane to go through immigration together. Neither of us have been to Korea before, so I don't know where or how to meet if I don't catch her right off the plane. I know that I will have to go to the Main Terminal anyway to get to Immigration. There clearly must be a transit path for people connecting from United to Korean Air. But will I be able to get to a Korean Air Main Terminal gate to meet her without a boarding pass for a flight departing the Main Terminal?

If I cannot get to the Main Terminal gates to see her get off her plane, can someone familiar with Incheon recommend an easy meeting point BEFORE Immigration where we would not miss each other?

My departure from the US is 2/15/2012 and we both arrive the evening of 2/16/2012.

You won't be able to meet her at the gate. You can meet her at customs where you get your bags (or probably at immigration, i was sleepy when i was there last year so I didn't exactly look around)

But likely you would want to meet at the carousel as you would be leaving your bags on the belt for a couple hours ?

Thank you for the response and the link. Bummer I can't get to her gate, but that isn't surprising. The link was very helpful in describing step-by-step what you do. Key steps are:

1) Disembark plane
2) Immigrations
3) Baggage Claim
4) Customs

This is the normal sequence, of course, for International arrivals.

So if anyone knows where I can meet - and describe clearly to my girlfriend (not native English speaker) before going through Immigrations I would really appreciate it. My girlfriend is Thai, and even though Thailand has a visa free agreement with Korea, I was told by a visa agency in Bangkok that it is possible Korean Immigrations would deny entry to a single Thai lady traveling alone and that it was critical I meet her before Immigrations and we go through together.

Also (and very secondarily) are there any accessible restaurants, lounges or other areas in the Main Terminal pre-Immigrations I could spend some of the six hours between our arrival times? If not, are these amenities accessible in Concourse A at arrival?
