What are your requirements ? Nonstop, best food, best seat, best service, etc, etc.

If your willing to take a connection through ZRH, then it is probably LX.

Cheers.

My partner and I enjoyed the new BuisnessFirst Continental trip we took last year out of EWR. The terrific service and excellent food, together with a flat bed seat made this, an anniversary trip, memorable.

If you want to go non-stop, I believe Air France is your only option. All other non-stop options to the best of my knowledge would be business class.

I would choose any non-stop business class flight over any connecting first class flight - at least as long as the business class flight does not cost more.

I think the OP said First class - while BusinessFirst is semi-decent business class - its has nothing in common with real First Class.

As mentioned, Air France would be the only option with First Class

Openskies flies an all-business configuration EWR-ORY as well.

As others have pointed out, non-stop NYC-PAR in First has only one option.

However, if you don't mind NYC-LHR and then either taking a short flight or a Eurostar trip to Paris, the choices open up considerably. Having experienced First on BA and AA, either one would be good. I haven't taken the others, but the competition on that route is keen. so it's likely to be pretty good.

If you don't mind connecting (and money is no object) then first class Singapore Airlines EWR to Frankfurt and then to Paris with LH or AF (most likely in business intra-europe which leaves lots to be desired)

AF has First Class on the Airbus 380 out of JFK;
Plan on paying 15K per person RT.

All AF services out of JFK currently have a first class cabin. Admittedly it is tiny on the 773 as it is only one row.

You could go Open Skies which is an all business service into Orly if it is still around.

They can call those seats what they want, but EC is NOT all business--it's business and premium economy currently, going to add plain old economy soon (and I believe relabel their seating). The "BizBed" seats do give you a flat bed, but it is a far cry from F service. The "BizSeat" seats are okay, but definitely no more than a premium economy product.

AF. Look for a travel agent who has contracts with them- can save you at least 5-6K per person.

Even for 10k, I would not fly First between NYC and PAR : that is a too short flight to justify the price difference with Business.

This is another discussion (and I by the way I agree with you)- however the OP asked about First, and there are people (not the majority) who want to fly only First or non-commercial.

IIRC the Concorde used to be ~16K R/T to CDG from New York.
