Checked my account yesterday and had points along with bonuses, but today there was nothing....just 0. How come?

elsewhere on the board is a topic about this. but basically hilton has adopted the plan that you have to have some paid activity within a year or they wipe you out.
the paid activity, however, can be buying 1,000 points
but they send an e-mail with a warning about it

Had 2 paid stays this year, but only one has posted so far. The points disappeared was the paid stay that posted. What happened?

According to the Terms & Conditions on the HHonors website, you only need activity in your account every year, and that could mean getting points from a 3rd party (MyPoints, for instance).
From the HHonors website:

"13. Members who do not earn points in any 12 month consecutive month period may be removed from the Program and, if so, are subject to forfeiture of all accumulated points. The account may be reactivated by the member taking one of the following actions:
stay at an HHonors hotel, thus reactivating membership; or
earn HHonors points through any third party source of HHonors point accumulation"</font>
