Qatar Airways Privilege Club - Business Class BKK-LHR

Hi,

Planning to use QR for the first time this year travelling on this route round trip in Business Class. The aircraft selected as per current itinerary schedule are 777-300ER and 777L (which I believe is the 777-200). Are there any differences in the travel experience between the 2 types of aircraft? Also any recommendations on the best seats to select for 2 pax?

I would also appreciate general opinions of the Business Class service I can expect on this route, both positive and negative. Last year we used Oman Business Class on the return leg and the seat was superb, justifying it’s award last year by Skytrax so I am not expecting QR’s seat offering to be as good. However I am expecting QR to excel in other areas.

Oman Air's business class on the Mid-East to LHR route is probably the best imo and you wont top it with any of the other Gulf Carriers. Mainly because they havent gotten too big yet.

Having said that the 777's business class on QR are the best and any combination of window or middle are great on these aircraft.
