I posted this in luxury hotels and then was told $300 a night is not luxury after their ideas were $800 plus a night.....

So I am headed to Italy for a wedding in September and need some recommendations on where to stay.....

We will be in Florence - Sept 23rd and 24th

Rome - Sept 25th, 26th, 27th

We will be wanting to do the tourist things and want to stay in a NICE area where we can walk to places

Thoughts?

While there is some debate about what "budget" hotel would be, I think I can safely say that for this forum $300 is not it @:-)

Thoughts?
