Hilton HHonors - Great intro rates at new Hilton Club @ New York Hilton
Do HHonors benefits, point accrual, etc. apply to Hilton Club stays? This looks too good to be true!

I called -- no points, etc.
I booked and the agent told me that I would get points and stay credit. I called HHonors Diamond Desk they said no. I emailed Hilton Grand Vacation Club to get confirmation. I won't stay if there are no points.

I checked again..
The HGVC agent claims I'll receive full points and benefits, however, the HHonors Desk says otherwise.
Somehow I believe the HHonors CSR.
The rooms do look nice though. If anybody stays there, I for one would appreciate a trip report.

Not much of a trip report......but I did tour the Hilton Club New York units late this summer and I must say, they are beautiful.
Made this New Yorker think it might not be a bad investment after all (but alas, no, I didn't buy).

Do you get 20,000 points for touring without staying on the promo?
Thanks,
Brenda
After talking to the NY Hilton Club registration desk, they assured me that they do definitely give HHonors points for stays at their property. Trip report will be forthcoming next week.....

Has anyone stayed at the NY Hilton Club and have a report?

Does anyone have any idea what they are selling these units for? I'd be very interested in a couple of weeks in one of the larger units, depending on the price of course. :-)

Actually I have stayed in the Club for two nights back in May... The rooms simply put are amazing. The staff amazing. By far the nicest room I have ever stayed in. If your looking to do some serious impressing of the girlfriend or wife (or both!!!) this would be the place to go.. The intro rates cant be beat if they are still available.
Funny thing was we were there for a bachlors party. The staff was extremly tolerant of our antics.. The rooms are so well built and insulated it would be almost silent outside the rooms....

Starting price is $27,000 for a 25 year lease.

Unfortunately, as a California resident the place is off bounds:
"
We greatly appreciate your interest in The Hilton Club™.
Unfortunately, The Hilton Club™ is not yet registered for sales in your state of residence, and at this time we are unable to make this offer available to you. We always want to share our Hilton Hospitality with you however, and therefore welcome you to still visit with us at the Hilton Club - New York."
You can call the HiltonClub and book individual nights in these rooms regardless of where you are from.
It's just the sale of a unit that they're not allowing in your state.
And, is that $27,000 for the whole lease, or $27,000/year?? If it's annual, the $27000 isn't a horrible deal considering what you get in comparison to something you'd pay the same for in a NYC apartment building.

Phl~ I do believe the "lease" is not for the year but for a certain number of days/nights per year for 27 years. I don't know if that includes yearly maintenence fees either!

Just to let some of you know, I just returned from NYC and a stay at the New York Hilton, where I had a Hilton Club room. I am not really sure how I got one of those rooms, I booked an Executive Level room, and only Silver Level. Checked my points on line after I returned home, and rec'd them for the stay! I did get the sales pitch, the young gentleman said he'd give me 500 points just for filling out a card. Didn't go to the sales presentation even though the 20,000 points sound awfully tempting!
Enjoyed my stay in NYC and Hilton came through for me once again!

Staaed october.Great room and amenities and staff are superb.
Maintenance fees are extra.Whether it is worth buying into depends on how much you would use accommadation in New York. You can however use your club points to stay at other resorts around the world. For me however it will be New York.Looking forward to getting back in may.
