From online reviews, seems like there are only limited offerings at JAL's JFK lounges. Is it correct that there's no shower facilities either? Any places to get a shower before taking the longest flight in JAL network? :p

The terminal is quite sad as well...not even paid shower available if you wanted one!!! My advice - get your shower before you c/i! p.s. priority security screening is a good plus at jfk tho! I don't understand why they didn't install shower facilities there given JFK-NRT is such a long flight :( LausanneBoy Feb 9, 12, 1:57 am I don't understand why they didn't install shower facilities there given JFK-NRT is such a long flight :( +1 I once made a mistake of getting off a transcon and connecting on to that flight assuming there'd be shower... -_- guess there is no shower because 1) the facility is rather old and, 2) its a mid morning flight so they probably expect most of the pax to come fresh from their homes/hotels so no shower facility is needed JALPak Feb 9, 12, 3:21 am +1 I once made a mistake of getting off a transcon and connecting on to that flight assuming there'd be shower... -_- guess there is no shower because 1) the facility is rather old and, 2) its a mid morning flight so they probably expect most of the pax to come fresh from their homes/hotels so no shower facility is needed And 3) those who transfer from AA would have gotten showers at AC or FL :p cscube Feb 10, 12, 12:37 am I actually cannot think of any one JAL lounge outside of Japan that has shower facilities. I guess that's when your OW elite status comes into play. As OP himself mentioned, FL & AC lounges both have showers.
