Looking to get from EZE to four seasons 3 people. Various reports suggest the safest albeit most expensive route is car service especially as its late evening
4S quotes Benz at $175 USD PLUS TAX. Is there a reliable car service for less that anyone's aware of. Have been warned about taxi scams that start at $50 and then break down and go up from there
Thanks in advance

Gaucho100K and others recommends this outfit (http://www.silverstarcar.com/) so they must be reliable. Might be a bit cheaper as well.

The radio taxis from the airport are pretty reliable and not prone to scams. The cost will be about $190 pesos.

You can also book a car right after exiting customs. It will be a bit more, but is also reliable.

You will not regret hiring Fred, he and the SilverStar team are the best luxury car service in town. Make sure to ask about complimentary services when you book a round trip.

We used Fred/Silver Star for airport transfers and a tour this past summer.

He and his wife are real pros....highly recommended.

Took a regular radio taxi from Caesar Park (about ½ a block from 4S) to EZE, cost me ARS 165 total. However, 3 persons with luggage will likely be quite cramped.

Note to add:
Yes, I asked the hotel to "get me a taxi to EZE".

Also, my hotel concierge suggested whenever possible, hire a taxi with "radio taxi and telephone no." painted on the rear door.

A regular Radio Taxi is by far the cheapest and best way to do it but probably not the best option when arriving at EZE tired and for the first time. Luggage space can be a problem and some of the cabs don't have aircon so not advisable during the heat of summer.
They are still a good cheap option for getting back to EZE though if you order one through the hotel concierge.
