I wonder if this will lead to an increase of actual flights on the Tokyo-London route? BA and JAL currently each have the daily flight from Narita to Heathrow and BA have the Haneda to Heathrow flight which runs 5 days a week.

No idea...we might see KIX-LHR back though with the introduction of 787...not really have to do with the JBV :p I just hope JAL will keep its existing upgrade and award policy, i.e. no upgrade with Avios, no wait listing with Avios, you can upgrade from Y to C, etc.

But FLY ON bonus on BA is a nice thing to add I guess...

Probably not. The point of these agreements is so that the carriers can collude on pricing and inventory and keep things lean to drive up yields, not so that they can offer more flights and inventory.
