Budget Travel - Cheaper way to travel to European Countries

I am planning to take a vacation to Europe this summer. I intend to take a flight from Washington DC to Paris, and then use EuroRail to go to different countries.
Can anyone me about finding cheap AirTickets to Europe or may IntraEurope Flights???? Dates are certainly flexible.

I think American Airlines and US Airways currently offer off-peak Europe Award tickets for only 40,000 miles. You could probably sign up for one of their credit cards and have enough miles for a free ticket to Europe.

AA's off-peak European season excludes the summertime travel in which the OP is interested. Off-peak season is October 15-May 15 for AA.

I have 25000 Miles with Continental. Since I am a student, I don't think I have enough credit established to get Credit Cards from such Banks. Any other alternative guys???
