Finnair Plus - IFE: Is it possible to find out what films are showing before the flight?
I have tried to find out what films might be playing on my upcoming flight to BKK in a few days but I can't find it anywhere. I've even flicked through the PDF version of the inflight maagazine but couldn't see any listings. Does anyone know if these are listed somewhere?

I haven't seen any flim listings anywhere. The screen itself is high quality, but the film/music selection is rather limited, they have the same selection in Y and C. Better to bring your own headphones in Y.

Limited and often boring options, better to bring your own entertainment if IFE is important to you.
They often put the same movie under many categories in the system (like the same movie can be listed as "drama" + "classic" + "international") so that they try to show to have more content than they actually do...most of the TV stuff is also old and has already been aired in Europe..
I agree that selection is usually poor. That's why I was hoping to see in advance what they had to gauge how much of my own to load onto my iPad! As it is they had only one (ONE!!!) film I wanted to watch ( the debt with Helen mirren) and one other (ides of march) that I would had I not already. For a company aspiring to be a link to (far away) Asia you'd expect them to have something better to while away the hours.
Loading up my iPad for the longer flight back!
And then it depends which aircraft will you get for your flight, old 340 or 330. Last time I had 340, it had and VERY OLD enterteinment system with 16 channels of which 10 was not working...
For AY095 (the night flight at 23.55) Finnair has recently used new flatbed 330. Hope you will get one of these birds if your flight is AY095.
