(1) Had AC award on Y (ITM-NRT) and F (NRT-ORD).
Check-in clerk wished me happy birthday when check-in was done, then held back the check-in notice at the last moment and re-issued a new one with seat 03A on the 777-300.
Two FA's came to my seat with a hand-drawn birthday card using the ANA postcard.
On the NRT-ORD flight, they made a special presentation on the fruit plate along the same theme. After breakfast, they gave me another hand-drawn birthday card with various ANA stickers (probably from the kid's play set) and signed by the captain.
(2) Also it seems we can now keep the PJ. The FA took my worn one and gave me a new set with a cloth carrying pouch(not found in the plastic sealed set they placed on the seat). Caviar is now product of アメリカ (America).
(3) Did the Haneda ANA maintenance tour. Much of the pre-tour presentation was a sales pitch for the new 787. A question was asked about how many different colours were used on the Pokemon livery. Those who picked the right answer (out of 3) got a prize. Every attendant also got a small plastic model plane. A tour on the maintenance floor was made. Not a whole lot to see, especially everything is seen from afar.
