EL AL Matmid - Due to expected strike: Many flights rescheduled for tomorrow
Due to expected strike: Many flights rescheduled for tomorrow, as ELAL are trying to get flights out before the strike (for exapmle: LY315 to LHR ETD 09:05, rescheduled for 05:30).
I can imagine the chaos at elal check-in tomorrow morning!

Let's hope the High Court recognizes the ridiculousness of this, and intervenes.
For those unaware, the High Court of Justice has lifted the injunction against a strike, and the Histadrut (Labor Federation) has called for a general strike beginning tomorrow at 06:00. TLV will be shut down from 06:00-12:00. (Also note that the train will be on strike, so don't use the train to get to the airport! Egged and Dan will be running on normal schedules.)
I can't figure out if that's a daily closure of TLV, or it will only be closed tomorrow.
Anyone else heard rumors about a strike in airport this week?

Haven't heard anything recently. You hear on the news, at the airport, or word of mouth?

Word of mouth so hopefully it stays by that.

People probably got bored of talking about war with Iran, so they spoke about Israel's second most often occurrence - STRIKES!

Wow. What happening there? What is situation going on? I wasn't aware of this. Why they are gone on strike. They want to negotiate and they want to increased minimum wage, health insurance and benefits, too.
