Fairmont President's Club - Any promos for Chateau Frontenac in March/April?

I'm taking my girlfriend up to Quebec City for 4 nights from March 30th to April 3rd. It's her first time visiting Canada and I'd like to book into a Gold Suite and really show her an exceptional time. Current rates are pricing at almost $400/night (389+tax) and I'm hoping to find some kind of promo to bring it down nearer the $300 mark if possible. Can anyone (Famous Agents?) help me out? I'd be really grateful if so, and would be willing to pre-pay for better rates. If anyone has a promo or discount code that could be applied, I'd be extremely appreciative as this would mean a lot!

Update:

I booked into a Signature King NS for CAD $1297.94 total 4 nights (Room Tax, GST, PST, etc) at a rate of CAD $279 / night.

This is not a JR Suite, just a regular Signature King. I was told the Gold Level was closed for the winter season.

Is there any possibility of accomodating a room upgrade to a Signature JR Suite upon arrival?

I'd still maintain you'd be better off at Auberge St Antoine... with those heated bathroom floors! But if you have your heart set on the Chateau there is sometimes a Quebec Resident Rate available via the call centre. There is also the Virtuoso package which is the same as the rate you have, but with buffet breakfast and $100.00 credit towards additional F&B
