Swiss International Airlines - Multiple Segment Luggage question

I am planning to travel to Tokyo ( actually to Seoul from Tokyo) on Swiss by
using the routing TXL-ZRH-MXP-ZRH-NRT-ICN. There will be actually two tickets as business class fares from Milano to Tokyo are about half the price of a ticket
between Germany ( via Zuerich) and Japan.
As I fly twice via ZRH is there a chance that I get the check-in agent to leave
my luggage in Zuerich while I take the ZRH-MXP-ZRH detour ? So the baggage
tag would look like TXL-ZRH-NRT-ICN ?
Have you done a similar multiple segment booking and have experienced a luggage "short-cut" ?

I don't think you can
You have a ticket for TXL-ZRH-MXP then a seperate MXP-ZRH-NRT-INC ticket right?
To get access to your luggage at ZRH you would need it tagged at TXL only as far as ZRH then have to reclaim and then recheck it. Is there enough time for you to collect luggage before your flight to MXP?
Also what time does your ZRH-NRT flight leave? How much time is there between your first arrival at ZRH and the eventual departure to NRT (after doing the ZRH-MXP shuttle)?. There may be an 'earliest time' to be able to check-in luggage rule which means they might not be able to take it whilst you do your ZRH-MXP-ZRH shuffle.

Thanx but I think you misunderstood my request. I do not want to access my luggage in ZRH, I just want them to leave it in ZRH instead of putting it on my ZRH-MXP-ZRH flight. As much as I remember any luggage can be checked in within 24 hours before departure so that should not be a problem.
And yes TXL-ZRH-MXP-ZRH-TXL and MXP-ZRH-NRT-ZRH-MXP are flights on two tickets ( all on LX though) .

All you can do is ask at TXL if they can through check your bags to your final destination but they may say no due to the journey being on two seperate PNRs
For the 1st ticket, sending your luggage to ZRH only is no problem at all.
But I seriously doubt that, for the 2nd ticket, they will allow your luggage to "join" you at ZRH, after the first leg of the ticket has been flown. I have never tried that - but maybe someone here has that experience.
If (in theory) they allow that, it's up to you to figure out the logistics (knowing your flight and connection times).
you have 5 segments, which may mean having to re check somewhere if the carriers have limits on the number of flights they can put on the bag tag.....some have reported a limit of 3.....this might help w/ what you want to do....

A few years back I flew MUC-ZRH-BUD on LX and then straight BUD-MUC-FRA-SIN on LH, all in C but 2 separate tickets. The check in agent in MUC asked me if I needed my bags to follow me, and when I said no, proceeded to check my luggage in for MUC-FRA-SIN only.
