Following Malev situation, are Malev lounges at BUD closed? Is there any alternative for BA and AY pax?

According to the Malev website they don't appear to have been closed, however they don't accept Malev passengers or passengers holding Duna Club FF-cards.

I suppose they would like to get as many more lounge interchange fees as they can!

Well, I guess they would. But they would probably also like to get as much money for flights as they could :)

This from the Oneworld site:

Third Party Lounge
Location details: Terminal 2B (Non-Schengen), upstairs Gate 18 View map.
Opening hours: Daily: 05:00-20:00, Thursdays 05:00-01:00
Operated by a third party on behalf of: British Airways

Doesn't even mention the Malev lounge right now (which wasn't anything to celebrate, btw.)

Is that the Malev lounge in the Sky Court Terminal? Priority Pass are (still?) showing this. They are usually quite good in updating details.

They also show Platinum Lounges in T2A and T2B and the Millennium Lounge in T2B, but the T2B lounges are closed for refurbishment until approx 15 Feb 2012.

ETA: the Platinum lounge in T2B is near Gate 18, though currently closed. If this is the same lounge that BA used, it would seem that qualifying BA passengers could still use it.

I doubt that they would call it a 3rd Party lounge if it was the Malev lounge they're referring to.
