Frontier Airlines EarlyReturns - Any news on Frontier making an overseas FF partnership?

Got about 200K FF miles on Frontier...had always hoped to use them for overseas travel...but lost the overseas partnership with KLM years ago...

Any news/possibility that Frontier is looking into an overseas FF partnership? I'm livin' on a prayer in the meantime...

I think it has always been a goal for Frontier but it hasn't been brought up by the company in awhile so I don't think they are actively looking. They have enough on their plate with the restructuring.

That said they did just recently begin an interlining partnership with Icelandair. No word if that will grow to anything else but its probably one of the better opportunities they might have. Otherwise most overseas carriers are already in a major alliance and probably don't benefit much from little old Frontier.

And while not overseas in what you are probably looking for, the Apple Vacations tie up is starting to open a lot of new vacation destinations for Frontier flyers in Central America. Probably the most exotic that we are going to get on F9 metal for awhile.
