Qatar Airways Privilege Club - How long does QR take to respond to partner award request

Any recent experiences?
The last time I booked a partner award a year ago, they respond within 48 hours.
I submitted a request last week and got no response. I've resubmitted the request again Sat and still haven't heard back.
Also, they didn't allow United Express flight (they say it's a code share and need a mainline flight). Do they allow them now?

I'm having a heck of a time with them right now on this. As you know, they still use a request form instead of any sort of instant web based or phone based system.
Submitted request on 2/9 for USAir Bus Class RIC-CDG RT.
They replied on 2/10 that they couldn't book it without using codeshare flights (USAir regionals).
I replied within an hour to book CLT-CDG, no codeshare.
They don't work weekends (Friday and Sat) so no reply until 2/12 that not available and check +/- a couple days.
I replied with more date flexibility within an hour again (9 hours TZ difference).
It's been over 24 hours, now the middle of the night over there, and still no reply. I don't know if I'll ever get to use these miles, wish I could transfer them.
Oh, and according to their site, you have to go to one of their offices to pick up the tickets in person...That's a 2.5 hour drive one way for me.
In all fairness to them, I think the people are trying to be helpful. They just have a terrible business process.
UPDATE: 48 hours later. Finally get an email. No availability even though USAir's own site has them at the lowest point level...or did when I emailed. Trying again for another month.

How about helping me make better use of my time NOW Michael? I'm still having the issue. You specifically said that you would contact me via twitter DM, which you have not.
It is very important that I remind everyone that my issue is not with availability of flights. While it would help me help them if we knew how they determine availability, specifically what class of service, that is not my complaint.
My complaint is that their process is terrible. You fill out a form on their web site, you wait a day or two, they tell you yes or no. If no, you ask for them to check some other days and it is another day or two to hear...wash, rinse, repeat...This has been going on for a week now.
There is now a Facebook page monitoring this and anyone else's problems with Qatar. It's called Qatar Airways Underprivileged Club for anyone interested.

They finally replied to me. I think only 1 guy checks the email and he must be out the previous week. He replied to all my inquries from 2-3 weeks ago altogether.
Facts: you can book book UA and US mainline. No United Express, etc.
-Go to united.com or usair.com to find the saver award seats.
-Call Qatar Privilege Club (expensive long distance) and have them set up a PNR with your desired flights. They'll confirm whether flights are available.
-Print and fill out form: http://www.qatarairways.com/docs/privilege-club/Award%20Form%20-%20English%20revised.pdf
-Send completed form with your PNR to: membersvc@qmiles.com to authorize them to deduct miles
-Once miles have been deducted, they'll email you to collect ticket at a ticketing office.
-You can call their 1-800 number to have it ticketed on the phone. No need to go to office in person.
This process should be better documented on qmiles.com/

US they book X class.
UA they book XY inventory.
I've booked US/UA awards with them before.

Thanks for the info:
Can you give me the number of Qatar Privilege Club? Was it the +974 4449 6449 number? I haven't tried it yet but my understanding was that they wouldn't help you on these over the phone.

Michael, you publicly promised to help me on this via Qatar Airways' Facebook page. Yet you have not kept your word and even contacted me. Why?
Qatar's "tell-us" customer service address has said that someone would be in touch and they have not in over 3 days. Why?
A call into Qatar's member services (the number above) led me to a gentleman that promised me he would look into it and call me back within 24 hours and he has not. Why?
And Qatar called themselves Five Star?Hi. We're looking into this process. Thanks for highlighting this. Hoping we can help you make better use of your time (and miles) in the future. Many thanks. Michael @ Qatar Airways Community

That's the number I called. A helpful lady answered and set up PNR for me.
What US Air flights and dates do you want? Is it US Air mainline? Are you sure it's available in X class for partners? Easiest way is to look at continental.com and see if it's available. Some carriers (i.e. CX) makes award seats available in its own program but not partners, not sure if US is doing the same.

Also if you need a connection, you probably need to feed them details for segment by segment (i.e. CLT-PHL-CDG). Their award is based on total distance traveled.
