SAS EuroBonus - Spending 5000 points or 51 EUR?

I need to buy an open jaw ticket and thought about using points. However, the flight of tomorrow, leaving 1h10 earlier than my preferred option, only costs 51 EUR of fare, fuel surcharge and service fee. So I could buy a one way award for 7200 points and this ticket at 51 EUR + "real taxes" earning 195 points, or a return at 12000 points + taxes.
What would you do?

I use my points almost only for upgrading to C on IC flights. I would not spend that amount of points when the flight is that cheap!

In the end I used the points for another flight at a different time. I don't upgrade long haul IC since I rarely fly SK long haul, and I usually fly C directly. Most of my awards are for intra nordic/baltic, getting OSL ARN TMP with a 20 hours stop in ARN for 6000 points half round trip, that is pretty good when the ticket costs over 300 EUR :)
