Alitalia MilleMiglia - Alitalia? wake-up!

With my great surprise (or not?) I noticed that Alitalia is STILL selling code-shared flight to Budapest operated by the now defunct Malev (OW).
It sounds like the Costa Crociere selling for days places on the Costa Concordia, the boat sinked.
So, if there's anybody able to wake-up AZ sleepy and lazy personnel, please do-it as it is a real shame.
I will count for many days this BAD history will last, just to check how prompt they are.
I would like also to underline that while all the airlines made a public statement for their travellers to/from Hungary (maybe to take some passenger more...?) AZ didn't anything.
Again and again, the typical sleaziness of the former AZ is well alive in the new AZ.

chill squerez, it's not gonna be good for your health.
also you're more than welcome to count the days this BAD history is going to last. frankly, most of us prefer to be more constructive here.
bottom line: you may be right, but the way you say things won't make you any friend.

AZ has friends? When did that happen?

Hahaha:D; absolutely typical AZ, perhaps when they realise they'll upgrade their FCO-BUD to 2xd...
Meanwhile FR have opened a base with 31 routes, they've probably been waiting for Malev to drop for weeks!

Some of us fly AZ daily and find themselves pretty well. I wouldn't talk of friendship, but there's quite a lot of satisfied AZ customers around.

I can see only flights connecting in VCE on Carpatair. So, this BAAAAAD situation lasted for, what, 48 hours? While AZ was handling the snow emergency in FCO (badly, I might add)?
Honestly...

My only thought is that they are replacing the codeshare flights to BUD with some operated FCO-BUD.
Re the notices: true, they can and shall do better, although I suppose they are very busy now with the severe disruptions due to bad weather conditions across the country, and the rerouting to BUD may be not a priority.

They are here (and only here:D )it's like a nature reserve for fans of AZ, for a LONG time a species in danger of extinction. That's why I love this corner of FT
...here 2009 was a Nadir and everything after an epiphany :) no affliction that besets you or me has been experienced here... Millemiglia emails arrive magically on time time, all IT systems work, the AZ crew are helpful, smiling and efficient, ground crew are eager to please, baggage losses trifling.
AZ is a multitasking airline where schedulers also handle snowstorms, enhancing overall efficiency, so quite naturally it takes a couple of days to notice that AZ is codesharing with a defunct airline and so to stop selling tickets on defunct routes. ( Must have happened during the long Roman lunch break:) ). Why would you want AZ to say anything or issue a notice?
Everyone knows Malev is kaput so the other airlines are only working unnecessarily hard. It just goes to prove how efficient AZ is.
Here AZ is a sort of Italian version of Peter Pan's happy happy never never land:rolleyes:
You gotta love it! :^

Nope - the Malev-operated c/s flights are still majestically on sale for the S12, I could buy one myself if I wanted. Quite simply no AZ webmaster has noticed the mistake - AZ has always been insufferably slow at updating the website.
As I say, we can at least hope for an increase in frequencies, once the bankruptcy of the code-share partner has been acknowledged by Alitalia, since Malev did operate two of the three daily flights FCO-BUD.

Sadly no... They're STILL selling flights on Malev. It has been 3 days now!!! Probably I will call them myself to let them know that Malev is not flying anymore.
The situation is getting a little pathetic
Good prices though :p

Update:
The flights are no longer on sale. For AZ that was a very quick reaction, in fact I'm genuinely impressed!:D
Now hopefully the sales of the remaining flight will go so well that the route will be upgraded to 2xd (all in its own time).

You are right!
Finally an happy end and a good reason to stop my rant.
I'm sorry for all those more sensitive than me but I'm not used to be excused on my job and I think I have right to rant at AZ since I'm flying with them since 15 years.
