Glad they still have the $100, rather than $150 change fee, and allow you to take credit any time a purchased flight drops in price.

Much more customer-friendly than the legacies.

What's the process for getting credit on price drops?

You call 1-800-Jetblue and they will give you the credit. It takes a little while to process the change. If you booked it online you will have to call or email after the flight in order to get the online booking bonus.

Don't call.. You can just go to change booking and rebook the same flights online and the credit is instantly issued. You also still get the double points for booking online without having to get a supervisor to do a manual posting later.

Thanks. I did not know you could do that. I will do it next time that way.

Yet each year getting closer and closer to how they operate.

I believe I remember when B6 was a $50 change fee, when you could check 3 bags, and when their reward system wasn't completely valueless.

Long gone are those days. : \

Everyone would love it if airlines (not just jetBlue) could keep their ancillary fee structure to a minimum, but with so many airlines tacking on fees in order to create more attractive fares most airlines have to do something. jetBlue is still a great airline, but they are also a business trying to stave off losses like so many other airlines are incurring. Bottom line here, as much as we passengers would love to get free flights all the time and not pay any fees that simply doesn't exist out there, and so I am happy that the staples in the jetBlue product, namely IFE, 1st Bag free, snacks and drinks, remain complimentary while other airlines charge extra for these. I remember this when I book my tickets knowing even if the price is a little higher I will accumulate TB points, have my on-board amenities included in the price I pay, I will have plenty of legroom and I can check a bag for free.

Don't get me wrong, it is upsetting to see ancillary fees go up on any day, and I don't like to see that. On the flip side jetBlue is doing what it can to stay well positioned in this industry.
