Without an overnight stay of some sort, dropping this below 4cpm will be nearly unachievable. Now, if someone wanted a quick stay in SBA, I've found that ~3.8cpm is possible, although you'd be leaning HEAVILY on 500-mi minimums.

I never done MRs before, so I'm not sure what is "typical" for flights out of PHL. Since starting to look in early January, this is about as good as it's gotten. I hope there are better ones, but for good measure I'm booked out and back in one day in early March.

hadn't seen specific fares to west coast for US - I try to avoid looking as much as possible. it is far and away the worst airline ever. hopefully UA and CO get involved in the fare wars with Virgin as well.

$300 is still pretty high for a simple transcon MR. We've seen $175-225 PHL-PHX/SAN/LAS/SEA with connections. Hopefully as we get closer to the start of VX service the fare war will heat up.
