Asiana Club - Flying Asiana Business (Reward) from LAX to ICN - Can I access Star Alliance Lounge?

Hi!
I'm using my Continental miles to purchase a ticket from AUS to ICN (Seoul, Korea).
Will my reward business class ticket (I) allow me to access the Star Alliance lounge at LAX (Tom Bradley Terminal)? I will be flying AUS to LAX via United first class seats (O).
Oh...and does a one year old count as a guest?
BTW, does Asiana have their own lounge at LAX?

I'll let others handle the redemption question, but to answer your lounge questions, OZ doesn't have its own lounge at LAX. It shares a *A lounge (operated by UA I believe?) with the other airlines.

UA has its own lounge in T7 where all UA flights depart from.
OZ use Tom Bradley terminal in LAX where it has and called a star alliance lounge used by all star alliance carriers operated out of Tom Bradley only.

Yes. From personal experience with a UA award featuring domestic UA travel to LAX in XF and onward OZ travel from LAX-ICN in I, and as a matter of Star Alliance policy (http://www.staralliance.com/en/benefits/lounges/lounge-access-policy/):
International Business Class Customers: Customers have access to any Star Alliance member carriers' owned Business Class lounges.
* Customer must present a boarding pass for travel in International Business Class on a Star Alliance flight
* Customer must be departing from the local airport in International Business Class
* Customers must be a revenue customer
* Customer is not entitled to any guests
* Revenue ticket/customer: All customers excluding airline staff. Customers travelling on discounted fares, frequent flyer award tickets or upgrades are considered revenue customers and are included as revenue customers.

On outbound, you will be able to use the lounge in LAX. On return, you will not be able to use the lounge in LAX as C Pax, unless you are *G.

I would think a 1 year old would be allowed in with you, though the more important question is how is the 1 year old travelling? If you're in business, the 1 year old would have to be in business also, in which case they have a C BP. Or did I misunderstand something?

Perhaps a lap child? If so, not sure if he/she will be treated as a revenue pax.

I thought it would be a lap child, but they'd have a C BP. Even if not considered a full C passenger, i's not like the lap child will be in Y.

So OP cannot visit the United lounge in AUS, even if the AUS-LAX and LAX-ICN legs are both on the same day?
That would suck because on Delta LGA-DTW, DTW-HKG legs, I was admitted to the SkyClub at LGA.

Correct, however, if OP is flying UA all the way to ICN then yes, just like your situation with DL.
UA give perks to its customer who fly on their own metal all the way thru. When I flew UA ORD-IAD in C, connecting to UA IAD-FRA in F, I was able to use UA F lounge in ORD.
