Couldn't find anything, and this does sound absurd but --
Will they let me take a huisie through security? Pick up one on inbound, then have to reclear for connecting flight?

I guess its treated like other liquids so put it in a clear resealable bag. I'll be in the same position next week so let me know if there are any problems, thanks.

I had problems with US security with my very first house. (And only with US security.) But putting it into that little plastic bag prevented the US from being afraid of the house and I could pass. Never had a problem in AMS.

Just tell the FA on your inbound that you have a connecting flight - then he/she will put the huisje in a sealed/dated bag for you. This is accepted by security at AMS (after all, they see quite a lot of them).

No problem at AMS. It would be a shame if a all connecting C pax would get their cherished houses confiscated. :)

Thanks everyone. Don't want to lose them!
If necessary I can throw out my toothpaste.

so what liquid is inside the house? got one house on the flight to LIM and no security (nor in LIM, SCL, GRU, GIG, FRA) did ask about the house which was packed in my backpack.

There's "jenever" (Dutch gin) in them.
