This means that on thursdays and saturdays THAI will have 2 flights to Thailand from Stockholm operated on a 747-400 .

TG961 departs daily 2.30pm from Stockholm and arrives Bangkok 5.45am the following day.
TG963 departs Stockholm 8.45pm on thursday and saturday and arrives Phuket at 1.20pm the following day.

Lets hope all these flights will be on refurbished 747-400 with PE!! :)

THAI already serve Phuket from Copenhagen with a twice weekly but this is on a 777.Also the Oslo - Bangkok flights are on a 777 aircraft.
This fall THAI will have in total 25 weekly flights from Scandinavia to Thailand

I think THAI are gearing up for a war with low-cost Norwegian Air Shuttle planning to start their OSL/ARN-BKK route.

CPH-HKT is scheduled on 747 All Series I think.

Yes the 777 is replaced by a 747 from CPH to HKT according to THAI.

The question is, All these 747s that will be on the scandinavian routes , will be the newly retrofitted or replaced by other aging 747s ? The cabins are outdated comparing with all the competition including charter flights on these routes.

It already is 747 All Series

...I don't think 777 has ever been scheduled for CPH-HKT.

Yes the product is outdated, but it is sold as such. F seats sold as C, C sold as PE. Scandinavia certainly won't be a priority for refitted planes...what MAY happen is that as as refitted All Series come on board that CPH and ARN may get the current 7443 product...but then I suspect would also lose the F sold as C and C sold as PE model. You win some, you lose some.

Have the A345's been taken off the Scandinavian routes for good?

its seasonal business...TG has started this winter with three weekly Jumbos from CPH to HKT which are doing quite well....therefore they are planning with four weekly nonstops to HKT during next winter, two from CPH and two from ARN.
They are eager to catch their share of the scandinavian families who tend to travel to HKT and Kaoh Lak for winter holidays....for many years already there have been lots of charter flights (TUIFly etc) from Scandinavia to Southern Thailand (HKT and also to Krabi).
