Hopefully they choose a different architect than for T3, the most user-unfriendly new terminal i know.

What don't you like about it?

1) The Etihad lounges are way too small for a large transit airport Etihad is trying to make AUH become.

2) Some of the gates especially the JFK gate which needs extra security is basically half a mile away, and isn't actually large enough to hold all the first/class business class customers or even economy customers in its two different sections.

3) I think there is only one gate that has two jet bridges which is kind of vital for A380s. I've been at airports on an A380 with only one jet bridge and its a nightmare to load everyone in a timely manner. Hopefully Etihad can develop their lounge system so that premium passengers can load on a seperate jetbridge in the lounge.

T3 looks nice and new, but its a bit out of date and the planners obviously didn't realise how quickly Etihad would expand and is suffering.
