Women Travelers - Sanitary Napkins & Club Soda

Recently, I spilled something on my linen dress en route to HI. I walked to the front and asked the FA for some club soda and a cloth napkin. She told me that the best way to remove spots and stains is going to the lav, and using a sanitary napkin with the club soda. She said that it doesn't leave the lint or residue which a cloth napkin would leave. It worked beautifully. ^ One of the best travel tips ever from a FA.

Too bad. It was amazingly effective. The spots came right out. I was curious to see how the dress would look after it dried, and it looked perfectly clean.
BTW, if your husband is game, be sure to tell him to remove the wrapper first;)

On long hauls I use club soda to rinse my face....freshen up right away ! Try it.

So I suggested this remedy to my husband, and...........crickets....! :D
