Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - FRA TG920/921 Change to 747 ALL SERIES August 2012?

Have noticed lots of threads recently about aircraft changes and there has been speculation about both FRA flights going to 77W.

I noticed that TG922/923 seems to have the 77W listed throught the year now.

BUT I also noticed that around the end of July TG920/921 is listed (on TG website timetable) as swapping to 'Boeing 747 All Series Passenger' from '747-400' according to the timetable...and this seems to persist to the end of the year.

The seatmap shows standard 7443 seatmap.

Any ideas?? A mistake with the aircraft type loaded? I wondered perhaps if this could be the first of the refitted 7442s making an appearance but I don't think these would have the same (F) seatmap as the 7443 from the mock ups we've seen.

Find it hard to believe that current 7442 would be regularly scheduled to FRA.

Remember that 7442 is scheduled to be retrofitted in all classes this year. I think the 7442 you see in the timetable is supposed to be the retrofitted ones.

its a bit amazing that they should deploy the new retrofitted equipment for a couple of month only as they have announced to operate these flights by new A380 starting end of October.....

On Sabre the flight is showing 773 equipment throughout the year.

I think TG has been adjusting the eqipmnet several times and this -of course- can last...
As per my latest info they intend to deploy a B773 on the daylight flight from BKK to FRA (which returns overnight back to Thailandas TG923) and a B744 (a really NEW-one from August !) for their main flight which leaves BKK around midnight and returns in the afternoon (TG920/921).....

Aircraft interchange on FRA, MUC, MAD and FCO services :
 TG920/921 BKK-FRA v.v. to be operated with B74N instead of B74R as from
August 01, 2012 onwards.

Aircraft type code 74N should be referred to B747-400 retrofitted aircraft with
seat configuration F9 C40 Y325.
