I booked the Embassy Suites in La Quinta for 80 dollars per night all inclusive. The early booking bonus includes free Internet but if I book directly with ES you have to pay for Internet with the same rate.
Interestingly enough the AAA rate is more. So it seems it's better to book the non-refundable rate online to save money as we know our dates.
On the Embassy Suites confirmation it said that amenities such as beverages and snacks are waiting for you is this like the HHonors Diamond benefit. I have the Blue membership.
Can I get points for the stay as when I book airline tickets on Expedia I can get miles. I called the hotel directly and they added my HHonors number.
What other bonuses fall under the early booking bonus in your experience.
Did I do good with the rate considering other hotels in the area were more without the full breakfast and managers reception. We are a party of 3 and breakfast can usually be 10 dollars per person per night and drinks could be between 5-8 dollars per person.
I think we got an awesome deal because the Best Western down the road was more with a continental breakfast.
