hello all,
not sure if this is the right place to post it, but I'm curious about one thing.
I have reserved a flight for march with different airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian; for all reservations I received what looks like an Amadeus 6-digit code.
Out of curiosity I went to checkmytrip.com and entered the reservation number; the Lufthansa and Austrian flight showed up correctly, the Swiss one was not found.
That got me thinking and turns out there are several booking systems around, o joy.
Also, I was quite surprised that although all three companies are part of miles and more, only two use Amadeus.
Anyway, a question for all fellow FT'ers here...
what system does Swiss use? and for this system, is there a checkmytrip-like site?
I googled for a while but couldn't find anything serious. I also found this this (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/archive/t-383422.html) but that dates back to 2005...
I also know I can check on Swiss' site, but checkmytrip gives way more details.
thanks!
