..is now a reservable car class, interesting.

The graphic shows a Lincoln MKS.

Looks like they've added some other choices, including Luxury SUV, don't think that was there previously.

About time. Having cars that couldn't be reserved never made much sense to me.

Edited to add: What location(s) have you seen this? I just pulled my reservation in CLE to change car types and they don't have it - so (not surprisingly) it isn't systemwide.

I can't help but wonder if this is the end of snagging a full size elite on the ES.

Look how much DCA wants for it: $260/day! That's worse than Union Station's weekday $240/day minivan rates.

Does anyone actually pay those prices? Or is to discourage most retail customers, so they have enough cars for fixed rate corporate renters and free day customers?

Click on the "Vehicles" tab on the National homepage to pull it up; just noticed it last night when I was making a booking for DCA. :)

Unsurprisingly, it's not on the Canadian page. Heck, we never even get so much as an Impala LTZ.

But then suddenly we'll have the only MKS Ecoboost system-wide. Go figure...

Other elites (like premium elite and standard elite) still not yet reservable in their own class, but may be reserved under cross classes.

E.g. Lincoln MKX is a premium elite, but reservable under "luxury suv".

Have to admit I as kinda curious on what they'd charge for it, but neither FLL or MIA seem to have it, and those are the only places I'm likely to travel to soon. I tried without my fixed rate corporate code, and the categories didn't come up either (although I was stunned when the midsize car came up at 3x my fixed-rate price, makes me feel good about that Big-10 rate).

Oof, tried DCA, and it also came up as $260 using the contract price, so it's clearly not slotted in there. Wonder if they'll get that changed when the contract needs to be renewed this summer.

It was, the Cadillac Escalade. Now they replaced it and have 2 types, the Lincoln Navigator and the Lincoln MKX.

I still don't get it why the Lincoln MKS is only "Full Size Elite" Vs. the "Luxury" Cadillac DTS and in the same time a "Luxury SUV" is now a Lincoln...

Tried to book Full Size Elite at LAS this month, and it's gone. Is it still bookable at other locations?

Clocks in at just over 280/day for my upcoming SAT rental in March.

Just noticed a STANDARD CAR added to my choices for a rental. It shows Ford Fusion which I have never seen at a National location before.

I see quite a few Fusions at large airport locations like BWI, DCA, and LAS.

I tried for dates in June, but still no Full Size Elite category. Bummer! How am I supposed to get one of those now? Book a Premium/Luxury and beg? Book the most expensive thing on the lot (which is a 15 passenger Chevy Express Van)?

I was given an Infiniti G37x (full size elite) at MSP with a luxury reservation because they had no LCAR's on the lot. MSP doesn't have full size elite as a reservable class currently.
