Central America - Living and Studying in Costa Rica

Does anyone have some good resources for living and studying Spanish in Costa Rica? I'm entertaining the idea of a mini retirement in the next few years and am researching places where I can live for cheap and learn a useful language. I'm more interested in one-on-one private lessons rather than a classroom setting.

Heredia would be a good place for you to settle in , plenty of Spanish schools, San Pedro could be another option but I suspect is slightly more expensive over there
