Yes, and it's a development which I very much welcome as things are worthy of periodical review, including after the impact becomes more and more apparent to regulators.

I hope they expand the investigation to go after LH and LH's TATL partners and also to go after BA/IB and BA/IB's TATL partners.

So the EU is investigating something they approved :confused:Competition law clearances/exemptions are never given for ever and are always subject to review.

Having the JV cleared will protect the airlines from liability to fines but not from a review decision requiring them to change certain aspects of the agreement for the future (or ask for additional concessions for the clearance to be maintained/prolonged).
