Etihad Airways Etihad Guest - Etihad Guest not crediting miles nor replying correspondence

Etihad Airlines are doing it again!!!
They don't credit miles for the trip nor reply your correspondence asking for the ripped miles!!!
On 21/9/2011 I traveled with my husband between Cairo (Egypt) to Nagoya (Japan). My husband received his miles for the trip, while my miles were not credited until today. I sent them two e-mails with all the information and I attached the boarding passes, and the copy of my ticket and until now they didn't reply!!!!
The shameful thing is that this is not happening for the first time, since my husband had a similar problem before and they only responded to him after sending several e-mails!!!
Although my husband is a frequent traveler with Etihad airlines between Japan and Egypt, and he carries now a silver member card, we are all pissed of of this lack of respect to customers and will consider not to travel with Etihad again!!!

I have had a similar problem, but all of my flights were on Sri Lankan Airways which is an Etihad partner. My flight from 2 months ago still isn't credited even though I emailed Etihad a copy of the boarding pass clearly showing my Etihad FF# printed on the boarding pass.
I guess I will just send multiple emails until they credit.

Is depence how you send the email to Etihad ? If you used the link that is posting on their website is takes 1-3weeks depending on your segment. And Cairo station is one of the worse when is coming on system co-ordinating. You can blame the handling agent system their... Made in Egypt !
Silver is only require 1 or 2times flying .... is not a lot like u state you guys are frequent flyer Japan - Egypt ...
Is ok that you are angry it took times for them to re-credit your miles ... but dont overplay.
Etihad credit the miles before you land your plane at the gate .... no other FF Program is so fast credit miles like Etihad Guest !

Thanks for the reply whimike.
I guess that what I will do, keep e-mailing them, but I made this thread to let others know what's going on from this company to its customers.

I am sorry Jackylek, but they didn't reply reply me even after 2 months of sending the e-mail, so it is not 1-3 weeks as you say. I sent them more than one e-mail and they don't acknowledge even receiving the e-mails.
I used the e-mail retroclaims@etihadguest.com which they post on their page for claiming missed mileage.
Regarding Egypt segment, it is not my business where the mistake originates from since I reserved with Etihad and payed them they stand responsible for me. If Egypt office is not that good it's again their mistake because they hired those people.
The least they could do is acknowledging receiving my request and reply that they are on the matter, not just total negligence!!

I flew on VA and SN in September and since November I sent them various emails. In January I called the callcentre (also because I had flown my return flight with SN) two times. Yesterday my miles finally appeared. Maybe you should call them. The number (toll-free) is on the back of your Etihad guest card

Thanks Thinksamuel for the suggestion. Will try calling them.
In fact I never examined my guest card, so it is good to know it has a contact number.

I just had a very nice experience with retrocrediting some UL flights to EY and I also wrote about it (http://loyaltylobby.com/2012/01/25/kudos-for-both-us-airways-and-etihad-for-crediting-retro-credits-expediently/).
It took less than a week after I had emailed the BP's to have the miles in my account.
Thought I would add another data point to this thread.
I sent a retro claim 3 weeks ago via the email address listed up thread for WY flights taken over Christmas.
I just received an acknowledgment of the request stating that it may take up to 60 days for the flights to post.
At least they have acknowledged my claim at last.

I had a WY flight back in June that I am still fighting with Etihad to get credited. So many emails... They are hopeless to credit miles from partner flights...

Sorry to drag up this old thread but I just wanted to add that my WY miles have finally been added to my account; a little over 1 year after the flights were taken.

Bl***** ridiculous! Glad they posted though.
I have given up on WY, moved all forthcoming business to CX.

I totally agree as Etihad FFP has one of the worst customer services. They don't bother to reply and can point blank refuse any commitment from their side. I had got an email to recruit new members in their program which would earn me 5000 miles. I got 4 members for them and none of the promised miles ever made to my account after they took their first flight. I wrote to 2 different email addresses but no one bothered to do anything.
Disgusting level of customer service!

I had the same experience. They said that the members I recruited didn't sign in through the promotion, even though I was there when they typed my FFP number into the promotional gateway.
I'm about 4 emails in, and still no joy. I will keep chasing and chasing. As I did for a previous complaint which took over a dozen emails and a year to resolve.
Seriously thinking of switching to Qatar Airways once they get their new terminal up and running. Etihad are awful on the ground. Ryanair levels of customer service.

I had a bad experience with last year after flying business class I got up a tier then about a month later found NO points, emailed them no reply then I called them, they told me I had 2 accounts and that they would merge them . Then I found out that I had lost my newly aquired tier, called them again gave all infomation but they told me basicaly tough luck , so I have changed my loyalty to Emirates
