Regardless of points, does one get their plat benefits when they've booked their stay via another booking site than accor's own?

And also if the booking isn't made by the statusholder himself? For instance on a group(-booked) stay?

When you book through 3rd party web sites (e.g. expedia, hotels.com, etc), you don't earn any point. For the other benefits, I think it's entirely to the good will of the staff but I believe they will try to give you at least some of the benefits (e.g. drink voucher at least). But I have no experience on this as I avoid to book Accor hotels through 3rd parties fue to this.

For group bookings, no pb but the hotel may be not aware in advance of your status if it hasn't been communicated to them (which is usually the case for group bookings). So they will discover your status upon check-in and may not be able to provide all perks like upgrade.

So it'll be a pain getting the benefits if the group-stay is booked by a TA/other medium then?
