Its a few years since I've been to Zim, but the airport terminal was very modern and open plan with lots of pictures of Robert Mugagbe everywhere.

Post security there was only 1-coffee shop with limited choices, and one small duty free shop. The BA longe would probably accomodate about 20-25 people and limited choices of food and drink.

When BA flew there, on a 777, it arrived at 07:00 and departed around 09:00, the flight to/from Johannesburg arrived at 13:00 and left at 14:00

Check in, passport control and security were all slow. It was better to take US$ to py for the entry visa

In part, which airport would depend on what your intentions are - it would be more stressful, say, to fly into Zambia if your intent were to visit Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side and deal with the immigration and customs twice (and the Zimbabwe side has the majority of the falls, and does not dry up like the Zambia side in dry season).

we are visiting mana pools and the options are short fligtt to harare or road transfer to lusaka with zambia visa fees
looking for guidance about which would be the least traumatic airport experience
